Overview
Blue Cross Blue Shield recently re launched their website. As the UX designer I worked directly with the web team on designing pages. This was an agile project which took place over the span of 4 months.
Design process
Due to the size of the website (over 400 pages) we worked in sections on the website. Each designer worked directly with building out their pages based upon the content provided by our content team and based upon the site map. I worked directly with building out the Find a Doctor pages which included linking out to an external site to be used to search for providers, hospitals. Once the design was completed we met with the design team compared pages and applied changes. Also working with the provider team I was assigned the role to create icons for the pages to have a consistency.
