Overview
Blue Cross Blue Shield recently created a plan to add financial cards accessibility into the Mobile App. Currently members are only able to access these cards by directly calling the vendors who handles the cards. Therefore if members lose the cards they typically contact BCBS customer service who then contacts the vendors. By activating the cards in the mobile app users will have the ability to order the cards directly inside the app on their own.
Design process
When creating the wireframe/flow chart I met directly with the team of developers and discussed the type of flow they wanted to develop for the application. I then compared the type of applications we currently have within the mobile app that processes things similar to the goal of the financial cards plan and then built out the wireframe so the developers can start working on the back in for the application. The next step will be to design high fidelity prototypes.
